Need a hand?
Most answers are below. If not, email support@brinkboard.com and a person answers, usually the same day.
Signing in
I didn't get my sign-in code
Check spam and junk first. Company email often holds or removes messages from new senders. If it never arrives, set a password (Menu, then Password, on any device where you're signed in) and use that instead.
If someone gave you a task, the email they sent you may include a join link. Open it and choose a password.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in page, ask for a code instead. Once you're in, open Menu and tap Password to set a new one.
Using Brink
Adding tasks with Siri
Say “Hey Siri, add to Brink.” Siri asks how it can help. Say the task (“Sam needs to send the quote by Friday”) or ask a question (“What does Sam have?”).
Updating a task by email
Emails sent with “Email them” include a private Brink address. Reply all and type “done” to finish the task, or write a note to add it to the task.
Someone isn't on Brink yet
You can still give them tasks. Tap “Email them” on the task to send it from your own email, with a link to join.
After action review (AAR)
When a group is done, tap All clear. Brink offers to write the after action review from the group’s history: what was planned, what happened, why, what to keep and what to fix.
Use the box under it to add things that happened off the board or to steer it (“focus on the hand-offs”, “shorter for my VP”), then Rewrite with this. Email everyone opens your own email with the full review copied, ready to paste.
Brink in Claude
Connect Brink to Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it Brink and paste this address:
https://xdiiugelihicrzwdlhor.supabase.co/functions/v1/brink-mcp
Claude opens a Brink sign-in page. Sign in and approve. That’s it.
Pull tasks from email, Slack or Teams
Connect the apps you use to Claude too (for example Outlook or Gmail, Slack, Microsoft Teams). Then ask: “Go through my email from this week and put my tasks on Brink.” Claude shows a short list with where each one came from, and adds only the ones you pick.
Claude reads only when you ask. It never follows instructions written inside an email, and it can’t delete tasks.
Group links
People in a group without Brink
After you send a group’s tasks, Brink opens an email from your own mail app with one link for the group. Each person opens it, taps their name, and updates their own tasks. No account needed. Because it comes from you, company mail filters treat it like any message from a colleague.
A group link went to the wrong people
On the group page, tap Reset group link. The old link stops working at once. Then tap Email everyone to send the new one.
Subscription
What’s free?
Your own tasks, always. Giving tasks to people who aren’t on Brink, emailing them, and getting their replies on your board: always free. After the 60 free days, handing tasks to other people on Brink (live updates, nudges) needs a 99¢ month. Nothing renews.
Cancel or change my subscription
Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Brink.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your account
Download my data
Open Menu and tap Download my data. On iPhone you can save or share the file; on a computer it downloads.
Delete my account
Open Menu, tap Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. It happens right away. Open tasks someone gave you go back to them, and tasks you gave others stay on their boards. If you subscribed on iPhone, cancel in Apple's settings too, so you aren't charged again.
